“My building off Reseda Blvd is one of those old rent-controlled walk-ups, third floor, stairwell so tight you turn the couch on its end and pray. The two guys Laprom sent had it figured out in about a minute and just got to work. They wrapped the dresser mirror without me even asking. Charge came to the $175/hr they quoted me on the phone, nothing snuck in at the end. I keep their card on the fridge now.”

“We bought up in the Tarzana hills and the street is basically a goat path, no way a big rig gets near the door. The crew shuttled everything down with a smaller truck and a lot of patience, and nobody complained once. It was July so they showed up at 6:30 in the morning to beat the heat, which I appreciated more than I expected. Smart, polite, and they actually listen when you tell them which boxes are fragile.”
