These Terms of Service govern your use of laprom-movers.com and the moving services provided by Laprom Movers, a licensed household-goods carrier based at 18425 Sherman Way, Suite 5, Reseda, CA 91335. By using this website or booking a move with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them.
Quotes and estimates
Any price we publish on this site is for general information. Your actual price comes from a written estimate prepared for your specific move, as California law requires, and the rates and ranges shown here may change. A binding written quote, once signed, is the price that controls your job. We reserve your slot for a $150 deposit that credits to the balance.
Our services and your responsibilities
Laprom Movers provides local and long-distance household moving with our own trucks and uniformed crews. You agree to give us accurate information about your move — addresses, access conditions such as stairs or hillside driveways, parking and any required certificate of insurance, and any specialty items — since changes on move day can affect time and cost. You are responsible for preparing items not included in a packing service and for telling us about anything hazardous or unusually valuable.
Liability and coverage
We operate under a California PUC household-goods carrier permit (Cal-T) and US DOT/MC authority. Every move includes released-value coverage at the California-standard $0.60 per pound; full-value protection is available as an add-on, and we carry cargo coverage up to $1,000,000 per shipment. Our liability for loss or damage is governed by the coverage you select and applicable California and federal law. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, road conditions, or other events outside our control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always appear on this page.
