West Hills Movers

A Reseda-based crew working West Hills and the rest of the San Fernando Valley.

West Hills Moving Company

West Hills is the suburban far-west edge of the Valley, carved out of what used to be Canoga Park, and it has a settled, single-family feel — tract neighborhoods with garages and yards, quiet cul-de-sacs off Valley Circle and Roscoe, and the hills rising toward the Simi border on the west side. It is mostly families in houses rather than renters in apartments, which makes for full-household moves with real square footage. Laprom Movers covers West Hills from our Reseda yard, a straight run west across the Valley on Sherman Way or Roscoe.

Suburban single-family homes

A West Hills move is usually a whole house: garage shelving, patio furniture, a packed kitchen, a couple of kids’ rooms. These move on the upper flat-rate bands and most benefit from a packing day, and we bring the boxes and wrap and pack the breakables ourselves. The newer tract homes generally have good truck access and driveways, which keeps these jobs efficient. On the west edge, where streets start to climb toward Simi, we scout access for the hillier addresses. Victor built Laprom around a careful, insured crew that shows up on time — the kind you want handling a family home full of things you actually use.

  • Full single-family home moves with garage, patio, and packed kitchen handled
  • Optional packing day with boxes, wrap, and breakables boxed by our crew
  • Access scouted for the hillier streets toward the Simi border

Rates: $175 an hour for two movers and a truck, $239 for three, gear included. Flat bands run $2,020 to $2,980 for a three-bedroom and $2,880 to $4,260 for a four-bedroom house. A $150 deposit holds your date and applies to the total, with a written estimate and the CPUC booklet first. Laprom Movers holds a California PUC Cal-T permit and US DOT and MC authority and runs its own trucks and crews. Book at (888) 711-4778.

West Hills Reviews

★★★★★

“I'm a CSUN student and moved out of the dorms area into a little place nearby. They were affordable, quick, and didn't treat my cheap furniture any worse than they'd treat someone's antiques. Super nice guys. Made a stressful week way easier.”

“Hired two of their guys for loading labor only, my own truck, here in Reseda. Charged the flat $175/hr, no equipment minimum, which is exactly what I needed. One box got set down a little hard but nothing broke and the lead flagged it to me himself. Quick workers, good attitudes, fair. I'd book the labor-only option again without hesitation.”

“Moved within Winnetka right before the holidays. The crew was warm, professional, and shockingly fast. No nickel-and-diming, the $175/hr was the whole story. They even broke down all my boxes at the end. Made my December a lot less stressful.”

FAQ

We've got a full house with garage and patio stuff — can it all go in one move?
Usually, yes. We size the truck and crew to your home so the garage shelving, patio furniture, and the packed interior go in one load where we can. If it's a big four-bedroom we may bring more hands to keep it a single day, and we'll lay that out in the estimate.
Should I pack myself or have you do it?
Either works. If you want us to, we'll add a packing day, bring the boxes and wrap, and box the breakables ourselves so they ride safe. It's $175 an hour for the packing labor, and we'll put it in the written estimate so there's no guesswork on the total.
Our place is on the hillier west side toward Simi — any access issues?
Most West Hills streets are easy truck access, but on the higher addresses toward the Simi border we'll check the driveway and turnaround first. If it's tight we stage nearby and shuttle the load, and we'll know that before move day rather than discover it at the curb.
