Woodland Hills Moving Company
Woodland Hills is where the Valley goes vertical in two different ways. Warner Center on the flats is all high-rise apartments, corporate towers, and big complexes off Topanga Canyon Blvd and Victory, with loading docks and strict move-in rules. Then the land rises south toward the Santa Monica Mountains into hillside homes on curving streets with steep driveways and tight turnarounds. The 101 runs along the southern edge tying it all together. Laprom Movers covers both ends from our Reseda yard a short hop east on Sherman Way.
Warner Center high-rises
The Warner Center towers move like commercial buildings. There is a freight elevator to reserve, a dock or a designated loading bay, a certificate of insurance the building manager often wants on file, and a move-in window you have to hit. We handle all of it — book the elevator, send the COI ahead, pad the path, and keep the crew on the clock for the actual carry. These are common one- and two-bedroom apartment moves, and the hourly crew fits them cleanly.
The hills above
South of Ventura Blvd the streets wind up toward the mountains, and a lot of homes there have a long walk or a steep drive between the truck and the door. We scout access first, bring a shuttle plan when a full-size truck cannot make the turn, and put a lead who knows these roads on the job. Hillside homes usually move on the larger flat-rate bands once access is factored in.
Rates: $175 an hour for two movers and a truck, $239 for three, blankets and dollies included. Flat bands run $1,200 to $1,800 for a two-bedroom, $2,020 to $2,980 for a three, and $2,880 to $4,260 for a four-bedroom house. A $150 deposit holds your date and applies to the total; written estimate and CPUC booklet come first. Laprom Movers holds a California PUC Cal-T permit plus US DOT and MC authority and runs its own trucks and crews. Quote line: (888) 711-4778.
