Granada Hills Movers

Granada Hills Moving Company

Granada Hills sits up in the north Valley below the 118, a settled, family-oriented area of larger single-family homes, bigger lots, and quiet streets running off Chatsworth St and Balboa Blvd. It is less apartment churn and more established households — people who have lived in a four-bedroom for years and have a full house to move. The land rises toward the foothills on the north end, where some streets get steep and the lots get generous. Laprom Movers covers it from our Reseda yard, a quick run north up Reseda Blvd or the 405.

Larger homes, full households

A Granada Hills move is usually a real house — garage, attic, patio furniture, the works. These move on the upper flat-rate bands and almost always benefit from a packing day. We bring the boxes and wrap, pack the breakables ourselves, and load every piece with our own crew. With bigger homes come bigger pieces like wardrobes, pianos, and oversized sectionals, and we bring the dollies and padding for them. Victor built Laprom around the kind of careful, insured crew you want handling a household you have spent years filling.

Foothill streets and the 118

Up toward the foothills the streets steepen and turnarounds tighten, so we scout access for the homes near the hills and plan the truck accordingly. The 118 makes getting in and out easy most of the day, and we time loads to keep the drive clean.

Rates: $175 an hour for two movers and a truck, $239 for three, gear included. Flat bands run $2,020 to $2,980 for a three-bedroom and $2,880 to $4,260 for a four-bedroom house. Piano and specialty from $399. A $150 deposit holds your date and applies to the total; written estimate and CPUC booklet first. Laprom Movers holds a California PUC Cal-T permit and US DOT and MC authority and runs its own trucks and crews. Call (888) 711-4778.

Granada Hills Reviews

★★★★

“Booked them for a Tarzana apartment move and mostly they were great. On time, careful, friendly, and the deposit came right off the total like they promised. One nightstand got a small scuff that the lead pointed out to me before I'd even spotted it, which I respected. Knocking off a star for that but I'd still recommend them.”

“We had a full Van Nuys house plus a garage packed with tools and gym equipment. The 3-mover crew at $239/hr powered through it without breaking anything, and trust me there were some awkward heavy pieces. They disassembled the bed frames and put them back together at the new house in Northridge. The lead kept me posted on the running time so the final bill was no shock. Genuinely impressed with how organized these guys are, you can tell it's an actual company that trains its people and not a pickup-truck gamble.”

“Small Woodland Hills studio, fast and clean. They showed up early before it got hot, knocked it out, and the rate was exactly as quoted. Lovely crew.”

FAQ

We've got a full four-bedroom to pack and move — can you do the whole thing?
Yes, that's a typical Granada Hills job for us. We'll add a packing day, bring all the boxes and wrap, and box up the kitchen and breakables before move day. Then our crew loads it and drives it. It all goes in one written estimate so the cost is clear up front.
Our street near the foothills is steep with a tight turnaround. Will the truck fit?
We check the access first. Most Granada Hills streets are fine for a full-size truck, but on the steeper north-end lots near the hills we'll look at the turnaround and the driveway. If it's too tight we stage nearby and shuttle, and we'll know that before booking, not at your door.
Do you move pianos and big wardrobes out of the bigger homes?
Yes. Pianos start at $399 and we bring the proper dolly and padding. Oversized wardrobes and sectionals are routine — we plan the carry path and the angles ahead of time. For high-value pieces we'll suggest full-value protection on top of the standard coverage.
